DESCRIPTION: Customers are currently unable to create new clusters using Container Engine for Kubernetes in us-ashburn-1. The issue has been confirmed as resolved in eu-frankfurt-1, uk-london-1, and us-phoenix-1. There is no impact to existing clusters. Engineers identified an issue with a backend service and have deployed a fix, which restored service in three regions. A new set of issues was encountered in us-ashburn-1 and fixes are currently being deployed.

Our engineers identified the root cause and have validated that this issue has been resolved. Any tenants impacted by this can reattempt their operations.

We have identified an issue with a backend database, that has been resolved, and are monitoring the result.
