We've resolved an issue affecting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Autonomous Database Serverless in the Brazil East (Sao Paulo) region. The same issue also impacted Oracle APEX/ORDS operations using Autonomous Database Serverless in the region.
Customer Impact: Customers may have experienced issues when attempting to perform life-cycle management operations such as Scaling, Starting or Stopping the Autonomous Database service. Additionally, APEX operations were also impacted.
Note: During this time customers would have been able to make database connections. Existing workloads and/or transactions were not impacted during this event.
Preliminary Root Cause: A subset of infrastructure became unresponsive, which prevented connections from reaching their intended destinations.
