Preliminary Root Cause: Network infrastructure that facilitates inter-regional connectivity between the US East (Ashburn) and US West (Phoenix) regions experienced an unexpected spike in traffic. This resulted in network link saturation that caused latency and connectivity issues between resources in these regions.
